Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you type into the letter generator — your name, position, company, manager, dates, reason, email, phone — never leaves your browser. There is no server that receives it, no user database, and no sign-up.

What we do collect is anonymous usage statistics, and the site carries Google advertising, which uses cookies. The detail is below.

What you type into the generator

Composing the letter, previewing it and downloading the file all run in JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to our servers, written to a database, or shared with third parties. Closing or refreshing the page discards it immediately.

We keep no copy of any letter and cannot retrieve one for you later.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-1RC4XQ52XS) to collect anonymous statistics — visit counts, pages viewed, language chosen, device type and approximate country — so we can see which parts of the site are actually useful.

The events we record are choices and button presses only: which tone was selected, whether the letter was downloaded or printed, whether the calculator was used. The rule enforced in the code is that no text a user types ever reaches analytics, and an automated test checks it on every change.

To opt out of Google Analytics entirely, install the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Advertising and Google AdSense cookies

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-3471655035642356). As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads on this site.

Google's use of the DoubleClick DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising at www.google.com/settings/ads and read how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Other third-party advertisers may set their own cookies or web beacons when their ads appear here; that is outside our control. Opt-outs for other vendors are available at optout.aboutads.info

We do not pass anything you type into the generator to any advertising provider, and no ads are placed on this privacy policy, the terms of service, or the contact page.

Cookies in full

This site sets no cookies of its own to track you. Any cookies you encounter come from the two Google services described above: Analytics and AdSense.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The letter generator works normally with all cookies disabled.

If you choose to support us through Ko-fi, payment happens on Ko-fi's site and with its payment providers, under Ko-fi's privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. The Ko-fi box on this site is loaded from ko-fi.com only when you press a support button, and once loaded Ko-fi may set its own cookies.

Hosting logs

The site runs on Vercel's infrastructure, which keeps the technical logs normal to serving a website — IP address, browser type, time of access — for security and diagnostics. We do not use those logs to identify users.

Your rights under Thailand's PDPA

Because we do not store the personal data you enter into the generator, there is nothing of yours in our systems to access, correct or delete.

If you email us, that message sits in our mailbox for as long as answering it requires. You may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, or object to processing of that correspondence by writing to contact@resignwise.com

For data Google collects through advertising and analytics cookies, your rights are exercised through Google's own tools, linked above.

Minors

This site provides information about resigning from employment and is aimed at working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 — and by design the site collects no personal information from any visitor.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Checking back periodically is worthwhile.
