What this service is

ResignWise is a free tool for drafting a resignation letter, working out your last working day from your pay cycle, and reading general information about resigning in Thailand. No account and no payment is required.

Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using it.

Not legal advice

Everything here is general information compiled from the statutes and from government announcements. It is not legal advice about your situation, and using the site does not create a lawyer-client relationship.

Labour law and social security regulations change, and interpretation turns on the facts of each case. Before making a decision that affects your income or your employment status, confirm it with your local Labour Protection and Welfare Office, the Social Security Office, or a lawyer.

Your own employment contract may set terms that differ from the general position. Read it alongside anything you find here.

The letters you generate

A letter you produce with this tool is yours. Use it, edit it or send it freely — we claim no rights in it and keep no copy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for checking the letter before you submit it, particularly the effective date, which should be verified against your own pay cycle and contract.

Limitation of liability

We work to keep the information accurate and current, and say so plainly where official sources still contradict each other — but we do not warrant that everything here is complete or correct.

We are not liable for loss arising from use of this site or of a document generated here, including a miscalculated date, lost income, or consequences for your employment.

The service may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time without notice.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorised access to its systems, or run automated collection that degrades the service for other people.

Intellectual property

The articles, illustrations, diagrams and software on this site are the copyright of ResignWise unless stated otherwise. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link back is fine; republishing whole articles is not.

This site links to government sources — the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, the Social Security Office, the Department of Employment and the Immigration Bureau — so you can check the statutes yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time and will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use means acceptance of the current version.
